Don't Give Up and Conference Healings (Dec 11-13)

I am amazed by God's timing...alright, maybe sometimes I think it takes a little too long. Ultimately, He is never late. Maybe you have been struggling with the same sickness for years even. What is your job? To continue praying and seeking Him about it indefinitely.  Our understanding of the Father's timing is limited. Many have tried to justify delayed healing with reasoning that is often harmful to the individual ... "You must be living in sin" or "You don't have enough faith."  This leaves them feeling hopeless, judged, and defeated. This is simply not true.

Jesus doesn't know the "day or the hour" of His return ... only the Father. Our job in the waiting? To be a vigilant watchman.  People have been waiting over 2,000 years for His return and yet they haven't stopped believing the truth that HE WILL RETURN.

So you've asked for prayer for the same thing every Sunday for months????? The family member you have been praying to be saved for over 20 years still doesn't know Jesus????? Let me ask you this: Is Jesus coming back? Absolutely. Do you know when? Nope. Does that make the truth any less real?  No??? Then let me challenge you to keep pressing in.  Keep knocking. Keep asking. The door may open tomorrow or it could still be years away.  Truth doesn't change while waiting ... only we do.

Our Father, the Gift Giver

I am in awe of how BIG our God is and that He takes the time for the small things. I know it's nothing new, but I'm still amazed at the lengths He will go for me...and for you.

I'm a planner and I follow budgets pretty strictly. I already know what each child is getting for Christmas and exactly how much it will cost. Another thing my husband and I decided was that we wouldn't get each other separate gifts - instead we would pool our money allotted to take care of a small house project. Well, I saw something that I really wanted to bless my husband with, but I knew I couldn't get it. It was heavy on my heart, because I just knew that he would absolutely love it ... but a budget is a budget and I couldn't change it.

A few days later my mother-in-law calls me and tells me that a package was delivered to her front door with her name on it. She opened it and immediately thought of her son. Crazy thing number one: it's the exact gift I wanted to get him. Crazy thing number two: she DID NOT order it.

I am blown away by God's extravagant love for me.  He knew my heart's desire and fulfilled it in an unexpected way...a small desire turned into a miraculous intervention.

"Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)

Side note: She's totally calling the company to figure out what happened. I'm just super joyous about the "God nod."

Dayton's Story

When I think of Dayton's story I hear a child singing "Our God is so great, so strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God cannot do -FOR YOU!"  Let his story show you that healing can happen for you. Because of Jesus' sacrifice, His power now dwells in us and we are not bound by earthly boundaries or limits anymore. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME! JESUS!!!!

Dayton's Story:
Dayton had been sick for over a year and no one could tell him why. After months of tests, he finally had some answers. Stomach ulcers, a bacteria in my stomach, and a drug induced hepatitis. He was almost bedridden the last few months due to the pain and sickness. A couple of Sundays ago, Dayton and his mom went up for prayer. God's power and presence was definitely on him and He encountered the power of the Holy Spirit. A few days later Dayton went to a preciously scheduled GI-appointment. The doctor did a scope and re-ran bloodwork on his liver to see Dayton's enzyme levels because of the hepatitis. When they got the results back it showed the hepatitis was GONE! WOW!!!!!!  His enzymes are still elevated but not nearly at the level it was before! The doctor also did an ultrasound on his liver and gallbladder Friday and they are waiting on results.

Waiting for "Suddenly"

Acts 16:25-26 “Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations.  All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”

This verse just makes me want to squeal in delight!  Sure, it’s the “suddenly” that gets my attention first, but more importantly we need to SEE that Paul and Silas were praying and singing in the midst of their time in PRISON.  They chose to worship God - keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus despite their circumstances.

I find myself speaking out loud, “eyes on Jesus,” over and over again each day.  I’m overwhelmed by stress.  ”Eyes on Jesus.”  I am feeling down because I see no change in my circumstances.  “Eyes on Jesus.”  This simple act of trusting Jesus verbally brings my spirit in alignment and makes me stand upright in faith.

Get this:  Paul and Silas weren’t allowing their circumstances and emotions dictate their worship.  They weren’t focusing on the fact that they were in prison.  Their eyes were on Jesus . . . and the best part is that the other prisoners were listening!!!  It was then that their “suddenly” happened.  Their worship and prayers opened up heaven and allowed the miraculous to touch the natural.

Keep your “eyes on Jesus.” You never know who is watching you in the waiting or when heaven will open up and allow a “suddenly” to rock your world.

Holy Spirit Conference Healings

Michael’s Story
On June 22, Michael injured his wrist while putting luggage into an overhead baggage compartment on his flight to Alaska.  He was in constant pain.

During worship at the Holy Spirit conference, Jamie Galloway received a word that someone had just received healing in his or her right arm.  Michael immediately moved his wrist in all directions.  NO PAIN AT ALL!

Since that time, Michael has periodically experienced a pain in his wrist, but he knows that the Lord healed him.  He rebukes the pain and it leaves.

Cassie’s Story
Cassie was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, pleurisy, and shortness of breath.  Through the whole process she has seen the Lord’s favor and provision.  Doctor’s wrote off many bills on doctor visits and prescription costs.  She heard many in the medical field say, “Someone very very high must be looking out for you.”

During the Holy Spirit conference, Cassie was healed from pleurisy and shortness of breath.

Jeremiah 17:14
“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”

Laying Down the Foundation

Hello!  This blog was created to stir up the body of Christ to go and “do the stuff.”  You will see TRUE stories of God coming down and touching the earth in the area of miracles here at the Lafayette Vineyard.  For the purpose of this blog, the fellowship of the Lafayette Vineyard will define a miracle as anything that has brought supernatural change in a person’s life due to a divine encounter with our Heavenly Father.  It can be a physical healing, an emotional healing, a breakthrough in a difficult circumstance, or even the wonderful gift of salvation.

Due to the personal nature of some miracles, we hold the right to change or omit the names of those involved.  The rest of the testimony, although put in our own words, will be written in absolute truth and integrity.

I'll leave you now with a TRUE story I recently heard from a lady named Pam.  Pam was visiting Eastbourne, England (home of the famous cliff Devil's Chimney) in 2001.  A companion shared with her the high suicide rate in the area and Pam felt impressed upon by the Lord to break the stronghold that was over Eastbourne.  Pam and her companions proceeded in prayer and proclaimed Mark 11:23 on Devil's Chimney: "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them." The headline in the newspaper the next morning was "Devil's Chimney falls into the sea!"

Join us as we experience the fullness of Christ and His works here at the Lafayette Vineyard.
